College is a time to make lifetime friends. Today, I am thankful for my best friend, who loves me enough to care about my future and my career. He invests in both of our lives and helps me out when I need him the most. I know that I am important because he shows it by showing his appreciation through random acts of kindness. For instance, he turned in my application for a job at my college for me because I have work on Thursdays. Through our trials and tribulations, we have managed to maintain a friendship with a strong foundation. Together, we have been through the worst professors, failed classes, and the bad friends that will one day become funny and distant memories.
Above all, I am thankful for the time that we have spent together for the past two and a half years in college. That is time that if I had the chance to go back and change, I wouldn’t. We tried amazing different kinds of foods and restaurants at both of our campuses and go shopping together as well. I am thankful for the hilarious, happy, and memorable moments that I will forever cherish, especially all of our awesome inside jokes. Even when we were cities apart (because of school), or even states (when I was on an internship 2,477 miles away), we made time for each other. I do not know sometimes what I would do without him and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him, if not my boyfriend or husband, then at least my best friend.
