So if you don’t already know (and if you can’t tell by my constant need of having to talk about anything and everything Disney), I work at Disneyland and I’m in the Disney College Program. I work in the Entertainment Department and they are hosting a fitness challenge. For the next twelve weeks, I will be working out like a maniac and cutting out all desserts and only eating healthy foods. I plan on getting a six pack and super buff arms! Haha! For real! I want this challenge to be life changing! I had work this morning – GREAT CREW! I love Disney Cast Members! Then afterwards, I had a fitness screening. I was able to do 20 sit-ups in one minute, 13 girl pushups, and stretching to your toes, I got to 16 inches. Then, we had to walk a mile and they checked our heart rate. I don’t know my beats per minute but I do know it took me about 21 minutes to walk a mile (I was super sore from the Expedition Everest Challenge so I had a horrible time!). After we collected these numbers, they were put into this national system that the government had put together to assess your physicality and I came up as the 11% percentile. I need to get this number all the up to 99% by the end of these twelve weeks. WISH ME LUCK! My goal is to do more than 70 sit-ups (and have killer abs), over 200 pushups, stetching past 25 inches, and I know I can run a 8 minute mile so I want to be able to walk about a 9 minute mile! I need to get my heart super pumped and I’m not going to put ANY CRAP into my body!! WHEEEEEEE!!!
