In addition to being sad about coming home from college, I was also presented with a letter from the district court regarding my underage when I arrived. My mom intercepted it from the mailbox and hid it so my dad wouldn’t see it so she gave it to me when I got home. I opened it and to my unpleasant surprise I read that I ALSO get my license suspended for 3 months. This is absolutely horrible because I drive SO much when I’m home. I have to drive to work, the gym, errands, and I always am the one to go to my friend’s house, not mine, so I’m always always always driving. Of course my license gets taken away the exact time I’ll actually be using a car (the summer). I don’t know when it’ll go into effect but still, it will at least be during a huge chunk of the summer. This is also bad because my dad is gonna be suspicious why I’m never driving anymore and especially when I start riding my bike to work -__- He CANNOT know though because he’ll be way too upset. He got so mad after my last underage and when I went to the hospital in the summer (yeah, can’t blame him right?) and this would just do more damage than it needs to be. He gets so worked up over it when it’s unnecessary. I only blew a .07 but he’ll think I was so drunk and have a huge problem. My mom and I are trying to figure out a way for him to still not know but it’s gonna be tough now. In addition to that, I also have to go to court still. I was told I wouldn’t have to – I have to pay court fees of 122 dollars and THEN pay for the class for $225. oh, and the class has to be taken in Centre Country aka Penn State aka 3 and a half hours away from me. If I get my license suspended while I have to take these classes it’s gonna be miserable. I also have to go to State College to sign up for the classes too so this whole thing is a lot worse than I thought. I hope you all can learn from this, don’t do stupid stuff!!!! I’m really hurtin from it.
