Pre gaming is a way to save money on alcohol when going to the bars, and a way to "take the edge off" before attending a college party. Going to a party with a few drinks in you makes you feel a lot better walking into the party and waiting in line for a drink.
A pre game is a hour of time where participants take a shot of beer every minute of the hour. All you need is shot glasses and a case of beer for you and your friends. If you don't have shot glasses this can also be done by taking sips of beer on the minute of every hour. Some people make power hour mixes (on a cd or on your computer) where it plays 60 songs and the song changes every minute. This is great way to keep track of when you need to take your next sip, and the music can get you in the mood to party.
Some try to play this with shots of hard alcohol, but the time changes from every minute, to every 10 minutes. This leads to the power hour becoming a more relaxed hour of drinking, and more focus should be kept on the time since the intervals are further apart. How do you pre game? Setting up pre game music is different from a power hour mix. Pre game music should not be played too loud that way people can still talk, but it also kills the empty silence and puts everyone in a party mood. This is great to get "hyped-up" to go out partying.
This is a list of recommended college power hour songs. You can suggest more songs below using the comment box below.
