Spring semester of college is a different scene. Everyone has been there at least one semester, so there is less random confusion.
The weather is typically the coldest during the beginning of the spring semester (depending on which university you attend) but weather can determine
what types of parties college students will go for.
Spring Holiday College Party Themes
- Superbowl Party
Every year late Jan. or early Feb. the superbowl is on, have people over, get food and have a great time!
- Mardi Gras Party
Early February is usually the time to throw a Mardi Gras Party so start planning this in Jan so you dont miss it.
- Too Broke for Spring Break
For all of those too broke to attend a real college spring break, throwing a spring break party at your house during the week of spring break is a great alternative.
- St. Patricks Day Party
Middle to Late March is the perfect time to throw a St. Patricks Day Party. Even if you are not Irish, you will still appreicate another drinking holiday.
- March Madness Party
Middle to Late March is the perfect time to throw a March Madness Party. Even if your college team is not in it, its always fun to watch the college basketball games.
Ideas for a College Party Spring Semester
These can be thrown in on any week not being used for the parties above, but make sure you leave yourself enough time to plan to prepare.
- Beach Party
Because the late winter is so cold, sometimes it is fun to have a college beach party in a warm basement filled with sand to forget about the temperature outside. Another option is to wait until near the end of the year when the weather starts getting warm again and students are getting ready for the beach.
- Toga Party
Late in spring semester, most college students start to feel a little more bold as the temperature starts to rise and the end of the school year is near. A college toga party might be exactly what you and your classmates may need to blow off some steam.
