My dorm may be the smallest dorm I've ever seen in my life, but there's nothing I can do about it. So, what my roommate and I have both done is add some homey touches to make our room seem more at home than it is. For instance, we have an old cork board in our room next to our desk- we both put decorative paper over it to dress it up and we've also covered the walls with pictures and posters. This is the day where you truly do change from a child to an adult.. to think I won't have to answer to anyone- ALL responsibility is on me. It's a crazy (and kind of scary) thought.
