How to schedule classes...

I wish I would have known how to schedule classes.

I never knew that scheduling classes was so important, and can be the difference between an extra semester at college, and an extra several thousand dollars in tuition.

If I could talk to myself as a freshman, I would tell myself to talk to my advisor and get unlock my ability to schedule classes as soon as possible, and wait at the computer when my scheduling period starts, so I can get into the hardest classes to schedule.

I would also tell myself to make a mock-up list of classes with backup classes so the minute I was able to schedule, I would be able to get all the classes I needed, and if any were full, I could quickly get the backup classes as quick as possible.
