In your shoes

Thursday is one day away from Friday. That makes the two midterms that I have today seem a tad bit better…not really. However, I bet that many of you are already done with midterms and are lying back this week…and for that, I say…hat’s off to you! I am counting down the hours until I am in your shoes. And when I am in your shoes, will I be gambling away all of my money on sports? Probably not (sorry, bad transition! Haha). However, that is an issue for a few people out there and others are just intrigued by the prospect of winning money (any broke college students out there…holla!). Well, I just recently stumbled upon a website after talking to a friend and it’s quite fun…oh and FREE! So next time you are wanting to voice your opinion as to which sports teams reign supreme…make it concrete with www.centsports.com.

Here’s the catch. They give you $.10 to start with (thanks to advertisements) and you bet that on any game you would like. Then, you wait… and if you win, you have more money to place on more games. What if you lose? Well, they give you $.10 and you simply start again. No, it’s not a lot of money; but some of my friends have reached $80 or so from simply picking the right games. It’s FREE , which means you have to endure some ads. But it’s a nice way to rival with your friends (add them to your list of “cronies” and get 5% of all of their winnings) and take a short homework break.
