Stroll in…Stay a while!

Next Monday at this time, I will be psyched out of my mind…and flying off into the (hopefully) bright blue sky! However, there is a whole week before then, so take a seat and stay a while! I will still be blogging throughout my vacation…you can’t get rid of me that easily!
This week will be our second to last Chemistry lab; although, I can’t get too excited because next year, I will have 3-three hour labs! Yea, I like Chemistry…no need to call a doctor, I’m fine! What’s your favorite subject? See if you were to say English, I would have to call a doctor on you! That’s the beauty of this world that we live in… you can pursue your interests and construct your dreams in a way that best fits your personality!
I was talking to a fellow food science major and she was contemplating about how she would like to switch her major to nutritional sciences. However, she said she probably wouldn’t because everyone was making such a big deal out of it and she didn’t want to cause a problem. Folks, you better be passionate about what you are majoring in because your degree will most likely determine what you do with the rest of your life. If you have decided that your initial (or maybe even 2nd or 3rd…) major decision is not for you, stand up and make a change. You should want to go to class (okay, maybe not the core curriculum classes like History and whatnot…unless History is your thing, of course! Now this is getting confusing…). I have an 8AM chemistry class every MWF and I stroll in with a mug of coffee in hand and the desire to learn. What classes are you taking right now? Are you happy to go to them or do you just skip out?!
On another note…Did your football team win this weekend? Oh, I’m sorry, are you too distracted by your studies for any extracurricular activities? Don’t let me disturb you!
