It's Friday! Did you know? What's on the agenda for today? A whole lotta somethin', that's what. One of these many "to-do's" that is hanging over my head is running to the library (I guess I don't actually need to run, but with my busy bee schedule, I haven't been to the gym in a while. So it might be a good idea to withstand the strange looks and squeeze in a mini workout...maybe...
).
Upon arriving at the library, I will head upstairs to scrounge around for some books to aid in the development of a thorough research paper...adding to the arsenal of information that already awaits me in my dorm. And when I head up to the specific floor of the library that possesses the books on the food-related topic that I am in need of (taking the stairs...remember, the whole no gym thing! haha), I will run into Mobile Aisle Shelving (By the way, I had no clue what these new fangled things were called, so I googled it and nothing was presenting me with the right thing...except for Wikipedia. Darn. Wikipedia always seems to have some information on everything...right or wrong. And since this is not a research paper, I'll put my upmost faith in the fact that these shelves are actually called "Mobile Aisle Shelving". However, if they are not, you probably wouldn't care anyways!
).
These babies are the things of the 21st century. They enable the library to encompass more books because the shelves are shoved together into groups of 3 or 4 and you can press buttons on the the outer aisle that will "Open Right Aisle" or "Open Left Aisle". No worries...there is a motion detector, so if someone has a plan to demolish you, this can't be their M.O. (Wiki does it again!). The only drawback is that you may have to wait if someone is in the aisle next to the one that you need to open. However, you are surrounded by a cornucopia of books...come back to that aisle later!
