Get a Mini

No, not a mini skirt (as a matter of fact, you ladies will regret that wardrobe choice the moment that you are late for class or trip in the middle of the street). I’m talking about a mini fridge! If you are in a dorm, this is a must.
Finding healthy eats is hard enough; but when the choices on campus get old and you want to hit up a restaurant, having some substantial options within an arm’s reach may save you some money. You will thank me when the dreaded “_______ Fifteen” (Freshmen is not the only classification that can go in that blank, you know!) does not plague you.
So here are some things that you will find in my mini fridge…

- Low Fat Cheese Sticks
- Yogurt
- All Natural Peanut Butter
- Fruit & Veggies
- Whole Wheat Bread (for PB&J Sandwiches)
- Low Fat Milk (perhaps to-go/single serve containers if they’re on sale…)
And in the freezer (IF your mini fridge has one!) - Some frozen meals (Lean Cuisine, Amy’s Kitchen, etc)
- Smart Ones Frozen Desserts (The perfect single serve sweet treat)
- Frozen Veggies (to bulk up your frozen dinners)
