What's Your Style?!

One thing that I have found invaluable when it comes to college success is my planner (tracker, daybook, what have you…). Writing down my classes, tests, anticipated visits to the rec center, etc will make your life so much easier. Not everyone used their planner in Middle/High School (and you might have been considered a dork for doing so). However, we’re not in high school anymore and I am here to tell you that planners are cool…and organized people shoot straight to the top (or maybe that is just my opinion). So what are the different types that you should consider?
There are thick daybooks that have address books, note pads, mini calendars and the whole nine yards. If you are a major control freak that likes to have everything in one little fat book, then you may want to seek out one of these…I, personally, am not a fan.
Then you have the notebook paper sized planners that basically have a calendar with the boxes blown up for you to write down the main things that are going on each day…once again, not my cup of tea.
Lastly, there are the medium sized planners with just the right thickness that have a small calendar at the front of each month and then breaks the months down into days/weeks. This enables you to have a few lines worth of paper to write down your schedule, from school work to working out or going to the movies. This is the planner that usually makes it into my hands. Now, what color should it be?
