Letters, Thank You's, Dollars, Oh my!

So, I am preparing to leave for school and, as a result, finally went back into the extra bedroom where I left my dorm stuff from last year (which seems more like last month). While I was sorting through the desk stuff, I discovered a scholarship letter that I had been looking for. I generally put my scholarships (and all other important documents) in a file folder; but this one got away from me somehow!

Anyways, turns out that I need to have a thank you letter written and sent to the department handling the scholarship by September 1st! Boy, was I glad that I found this paper when I did...mind you, this scholarship is not very big (At all!)...but every little bit helps!

That's a lesson that we can all learn from. First of all, be sure to apply for every scholarship that you possibly can! {{{How many times has that been drilled into your head?!}}} Then, save all of the letters you receive (email or snail mail), so that you can refer back to them whenever needed. Keep track of these things throughout your college career (yes, all 4+ years) and your life will be much easier!
