Whose Alarm is that!?

Before leaving for school, my dad decided to run a virus scan on my laptop...in the rush of things, we forgot to back up my files! Therefore, when my computer froze and we worked with restarting it and trying to restore it for 3 hours, the only option left was to restore it to factory settings and hope that at least THAT would work. Well, it worked all right; but I also lost everything that was saved on my computer...any pictures that had not been uploaded to Shutterfly.com yet, my favorites tab on Internet Explorer, all word documents...EVERYTHING! Long story short...if you don't already back up your computer files to a disk or USB drive or....somewhere....every month (or more); you need to start doing it right now! Learn from my mistakes instead of having to go through this yourself because it is the opposite of fun, trust me!

In other news, I am writing this at 7:25AM on Wednesday morning (when I have no classes to get ready for) because we just had a fire drill at 6AM [[[At First, I thought it was one of my roommate's alarms! ]]] and instead of going back to bed, I made some coffee and got to work on my laptop! Oh the joy of living in the dorms....Then again, at least the loud sirens went off at 6AM instead of 2:30AM like last year's drills! The only good thing about fire drills is that it can be quite comical to see everyone in their pajamas, make-up-less, with messy hair!
