First Day

The first day of school seems to have changed so much since the olden days of elementary school. I remember being so excited for school to start because it meant that I would get to color with my friends and play on that awesome slide at recess. My mom would take me shopping a week before school started to buy a new lunch box and a Lisa Frank folder and then I would return home even more excited than before!
Not much changed during middle/high school. Sure, I graduated from the Lisa Frank club and dropped the Beatuy & the Beast Lunch box;but I was still excited to get back to school and see all of my buddies. So excited in fact, that I would try on half of my closet the night before to see what my "First Day of School Outfit" would entail and I would be 30 minutes early, just to make sure that we were not going to be late.
Now, in my second year of college, I wake up an hour before class, put on some clothes (I still love clothes and looking "Cute", but I no longer feel the need to try everything on the night before), make a pot of coffee and give myself 15 minutes to walk to class. And that 15 minutes starts in just a few, so I better sign off and head to math class!
