Do you know...

...the muffin man?! Not that that has anything to do with my post today or anything!
So, every friday in my 8AM Organic Chemistry Class (wait, 8AM?!
) we are given a 10 question quiz over the material that we have covered thus far. Today was our first one, so I had no clue what to expect, but I went into it with an open mind (and a hope that my prior knowledge could pull me through any problems that might leave me stumped).
Nine of the 10 questions, I am certain that I got right because I knew exactly what I was doing (You've GOT to love that feeling, no?!). However, one of the questions, I know I got wrong...."Who is the author of our textbook?". I have purchased so many textbooks in the past week and my mind is usually more focused on the extreme prices as opposed to the author, city of publication, edition, etc!!! If this question was meant to determine whether or not you have been using the book, it is not doing it's job becuase I have already read 25 pages of the massive, chemistry filled text.
Just be ready for unexpected test questions. They happen and whether you get them right or wrong is usually not the end of the world, just fyi!
