Going to Keva Juice to pick up a Kevaccino is the delicious light in all of the midst of all of the studying darkness. This morning, my friend and I were ready to shed some much needed light on the week and headed out to Keva Juice right after her first class.
We walked through the crowded parking lot to her not-so-prime-time spot and hopped into the car. After buckling up for safety (
), she put the key in the ignition and turned on the machine that would take us to the nirvana that is Keva Juice (too much exaggeration?!).
However, our Keva desires soon came to a crashing halt when her car wouldn't start. This happened last year, as well, so it wasn't a HUGE surprise; but it's still a hassle. She has a huge test tonight and tomorrow morning, so we opted to wait and deal with it tomorrow. By deal with it, I mean, call the University maintenance/helper people (these are those random trucks that drive around and you wonder what in the world they do) to come jump start the car, so we can drive around and hunt down a replacement battery. Thankfully, my car was only a row or two across the way; so, in the end, we still got our much needed, tasty Keva to enlighten this study-filled week.
Moral of this story: Be sure that you know the number of those random people that drive around (aka the people who will jump start your car). Last year, we had to go search for the number, which only made the process that much longer. However, now we have the number handy for whenever those unforeseeable moments come into our lives!
