No Boring Meeting Required

There was a Dateline on the other night (I just wrote "nite"...too much texting?) and one of the little stories was about how a lady saves money and lives frugally. Now, before I go any further, I want to point out that I think that I live pretty frugally, myself (clipping coupons, haven't been clothes shopping in quite some time...can't say the same about food shopping though...I love food!
). Anyways, this lady did everything from make her own soap (which they calculated to save her a whopping $14/year...) to dig through the trash of a local bakery for free bagels (How must that wear on your self esteem?).
This got me thinking about college kids and how we all tend to gravitate towards free food. Heck, we will go to some of the most boring meetings to get our hands on a slice of mediocre pizza. I'd like to think that we sort of grow out of it (I'm not nearly as free food oriented as I was my Freshman year). Sometimes, it's better to skip the boring meeting and eat a bowl of cereal, no?
All of this to point out that I am hosting a giveaway on my food blog. No boring meeting required. CLICK HERE!
