Is it magic??

It’s a 3 day week (for me), yet somehow, I have 2 speech presentations to give (and be graded on…oh joy!), 2 quizzes and a chemistry lab write up to…well, write up! Do you ever have that feeling that you work and work and work, but your to do list just never seems to get any shorter? Is it not the most frustrating thing?

I am a straight A student and I work hard and do my best to keep things that way, which requires a lot of work (I am sure many of you are well aware of this because even earning A’s & B’s and a C or two is hard work in college). Has anyone ever told you… “Oh, you’ll do just fine, you always do good” after you have just explained that you have a load of homework and tests coming up and you haven’t exactly started studying as much as you should. Or perhaps they say, “Well, you’ll do great like always…I can’t ever do as well as you” and they are someone that couldn’t tell you where their book is.

Those types of sayings tick me off more than ever. It’s as though we magically get good grades or something. Folks, as my wise professor once said...
