I have five tests this week. This is not an exaggeration (except for maybe in my dreams). I am fully prepared to only get 4 hours of sleep every night this week. Mark my word. I have just scheduled it in to my old grandma ways (Hello, 10:30 bedtime! ;) I like to call it beauty sleep.). It just has to be done. What do you do when you have 2 club meetings, 5 tests, 2 nightly review sessions, 3- typed 6+ page lab reports and everything else that life throws ...

I just realized what it is really like to write a lab report and the verdict is?not fun. I have been writing chemistry lab reports up to this point; which is more of a routine, fill-in-the-blank, write the procedure, answer some questions type of thing.

I just completed my first Food Science lab report for a class dubbed Elementary Analysis and, let me tell you, there is nothing elementary ...

by on January 21st, 2010 at 09:22 AM (Tips, Tricks & Experiences from a Flourishing College Girl)
Have you ever looked at someone?s notes, accentuated by a rainbow of colors, and thought, ?I wish I had those mad skills? How can they even tell what is what?it just looks like a neon lights show? ? Well, then you, my friend, have come to the right place. See, I specialize in neon light shows and if Food Science ever fails me, I may just pursue it as a career?although, I?m not too sure of how far it would take me. Anyways, there are a few key rules ...

It's finally Friday! Actually, this friday rolled around alot faster than usual because we started back to school on a Wednesday. PLUS, Monday is M.L.K. Day, so I've got a long weekend ahead (Why we didn't just wait to start school until this upcoming week, I'll never know!).

by on December 9th, 2009 at 08:38 AM (Tips, Tricks & Experiences from a Flourishing College Girl)
My first final was yesterday and I rocked it! Too bad it wasn?t a final that actually mattered?I only needed to get a 50% to get an A in the class. Oh Chem Lab?How I love thee! I wonder if the actual CHEM final will be just as easy (Dare to dream?! Ha). What will be your easiest final? Are any of your professors simply not giving a final? My speech teacher isn?t giving us a final, per say. We just had a test ...
