Hi,

The first roommates I ever had were two sisters. The 3 of us rented a 3 bedroom in a nice complex in Marietta, GA. While one sister was nice, responsible and clean, the other sister was loud, filthy and frankly a big pain in my arse. She had a habit of taking prescription pills and then drinking ungodly amounts of alcohol or wine. One day my boyfriend and I came back to my place and found my roommate passed out on the living room couch. In her left hand was a burnt out cigarette. In her right hand was a 1/2 full glass of wine.

Thanks....

Default the worst of them all

okay so ive read a good amount of these and i think mine is the WORST. she includes all of the above. lets see i came home last night at 3 am and found my roomates friend and this dude (these ppl are complete strangers to me) having sex IN MY BED! my roomate said i didnt know you were coming home! where else would i go idiot! this is my bed, not yours. and why didnt these ppl go to their rooms or my roomates bed, are you serious? yeahhh and on top of that all the stuff that was on my bed was thrown all over my floor to top it off so yeah no respect what so ever. and she has the nerve to tell me to moveout!!! in addition.. she never locks our door even when i ask her 30 times because she says she doesnt feel like carrying her keys with her. well do you feel like spending 2000 dollars on a brand new mac? right lock the freaking door. also in my suites common room which has a couch and tv thats in between me and my suitemates room always has about 10 of her friends in there til about 1 am on school nights! and has sex with this dude in our common room at 2 am and wakes me up:-) and then they walk into my room nakedd yupp. and on top of that has all her friends in and out of our room on weekend leaving their half full beer cans on my laptop. shes a recipe for disasterr:-)

Unhappy Dear God get me out of college!

My freshman year I used a "roommate finder" program my school offered. She seemed cool, but that was through emails. The day that we moved in she asked me to remind her to write her papers, take her ADHD medicine, and help her get up for class in the morning cuz she sometimes slept through her alarm. I told her I wasn't going to be her mother. Her parents would call at 7am on Saturdays and Sundays and they had to call our dorm phone because my roommate used her cell minutes up calling people from an Anime chat website. Speaking of this website, she was on it until 3 or 4 o'clock every morning. She had a desk top computer with an old noisy keyboard that would keep me awake. When she wasn't click clacking away on that thing she was laughing or talking to her computer monitor (not that it ever talked back). She rarely showered, never brushed her teeth, and I know for a fact that she never washed her hands after using the bathroom. On top of all of this her closet smelled so bad that every time she opened it I thought I would vomit. In the three weeks I lived with her I used up three bottles of fabreeze just in her closet. After I'd stayed with a friend of mine for the weekend I came back to find that she was sorting her dirty laundry on my couch. Her underwear was on my couch! and it was DIRTY! Needless to say I moved out in under 48 hours.

My second roommate was a fantastic person, but unfortunately for her boyfriend (and for me) he was evicted from his place after blowing his rent money on pot. He moved in with us for a few weeks. About the time that I noticed our room smellled like weed I told my roommate that our RA had asked me if he'd been staying overnight with us. She hadn't actually asked me, but I had to say something to get him out of our room. The rest of the year went perfectly.

Sophomore year I was assigned a roommate that was a dream. No complaints.

Summer after sophomore year I moved in with two of my friends and a third friend of theirs. What a mistake. They stole my car to go joyriding, ruined some of my cooking supplies, and even used to sleep in my room when i was gone (they shared a room). When I would try to talk to any of them I'd get snippy replies and angry glares. One of the girls began accusing me of stealing food from her. I moved out partly in July to help keep house at my Aunts after she'd had surgery. I hadn't been back to the house except to grab clothes for three weeks when I got a phone call from one of the girls screaming about how I need to stop stealing her food. I had to convince her that I wasn't doing it - how could I? And why would I steal her food when my Aunt was giving me grocery money each week and I was cooking using all high quality ingredients at her place?

Now I'm living with two of those three girls and a friend of mine. It's not as bad anymore, but the girl I share a room with is habitually noisy. She'll slam our door at 3 o'clock in the morning when she comes to bed, throw things onto her desk, her alarmclock makes a hideously loud clicking sound when she sets it, and to top it off she snores so loudly it wakes me up. I'm not sure how long I'll last dealing with it. I'm trying to find a few girls to move in with on campus second semester in a suite style apartment where I'd have my own room.
