I was one of the lucky ones that had great roommates in the dorms, but I have heard many horror stories about terrible roommates.

Why is/was your roommate so horrible?

I had this roommate once that had a dent in his head.

I had a horrible roomie freshman year - she was super quiet and barely even spoke to me. She never went out at night, shot evil looks at all my friends, and eventually moved out after acting like the hugest b**** ever all semester. She was just awful - really judgemental and never wanted to talk to anyone.

That's tough, the worst part is you are randomly put into this situation and freshman year you have no control over it.

I bet your next roommate seemed like an angel compared to your first one.

There is no one is perfect, we are only perfect in our own eyes. So the "perfect" roommate would be the one that has the same habit or similar to us. But definately, live alone if you can afford it. And never live with your landlord or landlady, lots of them need to go to hell.

My Freshman Year I Had 3 Different Roomates...
-the First One Never Spoke At All And She Snored Sooo Loud I Could Hear Her Over My Music At Night And She Would Make Me Up With Her Snoring In The Middle Of The Night...she Eventually Moved Out After We Both Tried To Go Change Our Rooms.
-the Second Roomate Came The Second Semester. She Was New To The School But She Was Familiar With It Because She Lived In State. She Was On Welfare And Was Poor But We Got Along..she Stole $200 And 2 Of My Victorias Secret Sweat Pants And Lied...she Almost Got Arrested And We Both Ended Up Having To Move Out.
-the Third Roomate Was The Best...we Watched The Same Channels On Tv...she Went Out With My Best Friend Who Was A Boy And She Was Cool...plus We Had A 3 Person Room Which Was Twice The Size Of A Normal Dorm Room. It Gave Us A Lot Of Space To Live

My Sophomore Year..
-my Roomate Is Horrible...she Watches Tv One All The Time Which I Dont Like..she Blasts Music That I Never Heard Before...she Snores Weirdly Waking Me Up...she Doesnt Go To Sleep Til 4 Am And She Has A Uv Light That Gives Me A Headache...she Wakes Me Up Talking Loud On The Phone To Her Boyfriend At 7 Am So That Only Gives Me 3 Hours Of Sleep And People Wonder Why Im Cranky...and Me & Her Dont Talk...i Am Trying To Move Out Right Now...its Like Hell Living With Her!!!!!!

i have a lot to rant about so here it goes...

I live with 4 other people in a house off campus and one of them is just horrible. The most inconsiderate bitch of all times!

She doesn't do her dishes AT ALL and leaves them EVERYWHERE (sofa, table, floor, her room etc) and it just piles up to a mountain! and none of us are gonna do her dishes for her so we just take it out of the sink and its been there for about 3 months starting this term. THREE MONTHS!!! How f'ing lazy can you get?!?!?!?! Everybody else is pissed at her too!

She smokes weed everyday and hogs the sofas and tv. She has friends over every single day and it seems like its 24/7 she's on the couch watch tv, eating, sleeping whatever it may be. Like don't you have class you idiot?!?!?! Or any work to do?!?!?!

The WORST thing I think is the fact that she has a party every other day and doesn't f'ing clean up the mess. Beer bottles every where everyday. The living room and kitchen is a piece of crap. Her friends use the other washroom (one of them being mine) which I wouldn't mind if they cleaned up after themselves. The worst thing that just made me blow up was that some b**** threw up in the shower!!! she threw up in the SHOWER!! How retarded are you?!?!!? and they dont have respect at alllllllllllllll!

writing this up makes me so pissed off and i want to do is cuss and punch someone out!!

I had terrible college life in our dormitory. We are five in one room. My roommates are kind and very friendly. This was really the terrible thing, every weekends we do our laundry. (laundry shops were not common at those time ) After laundry we hanged our clothes outside the dormitory. When our clothes were already, we noticed that a lot of our undergarments were stolen. It was really terrible because why does a man or woman get our undergarments instead of pants or blouses...Why panties and brassieres?
